KC Ellis Hairstyling is built on over 25 years of experience — and a straightforward approach to getting a consistently great haircut.
Since 2001, KC has worked in both Los Angeles and New York City, developing a style that blends barbershop precision with a more relaxed, natural finish. In Los Angeles, he worked primarily with adult clients, including actors and musicians, focusing on clean, effortless looks. After moving to New York in 2012, his focus shifted to business professionals, building a reputation for sharp, reliable cuts that fit real life.
Post-COVID, everything shifted.
KC opened a private studio in Lynbrook, NY — an appointment-only space designed to be low-key and personal. Music is always on, there’s a spot to play video games, and the whole experience is intentionally more relaxed than a traditional shop.
These days, KC works with a mix of adults and families, specializing in men’s and children’s haircuts. Whether it’s a quick clean-up or a full lineup of dad and kids, the goal is simple: keep it easy, keep it consistent, and make sure you leave looking sharp.
With experience in both barbershops and salons, KC Ellis brings a balanced approach — technical, efficient, and laid-back — all in a space that feels like your own.
